Alexis was my mentor, a great bloke and a very dear friend. It was a truly fantastic thing to be asked to take part in this concert but it had it's bitter side. All of us on this album were asked to sign our rights to any royalties away so that all money could go to McMillan Nurses. The initial proceeds did go to the charity but ever since these tracks have been sold on and repackaged by various record companies time and time again with none of the money going to McMillan Nurses, or to any of us! Lovely business to be in - for some!
