I recorded this mini-album in Germany with my dear friend Alu Mingers and British bass-player Darren Elden. Alu was very ill at the time and this CD was to be his epitaph. I met him some 20 years before when I was touring over there with The Mean Red Spiders We formed a friendship that remained with us until his sad death 6 months after this recording. I have his beautiful Martin guitar and play it almost every day. He came over to the UK with his band Sixth Sense and performed a blinding set of gigs around Suffolk, proving that Germans can play the blues to! He is a man that will always be missed by all of us that knew him and many of the Ipswich music fans. Rest in peace mate X.
