After sales of Nude Guitarist made various Ipswich record shop managers open their eyes to local music we were approached by the boss of one of them and asked if we wanted to record a second album. We of course accepted and Dark Hours was the result. This is when the true face of the record business reared it's incredibly ugly head! Over-night we were on television, record of the week on the Bob Harris show on Radio One and God only knows what other totally concocted bullshit that the record company could buy!!!! But at least the record was good and I don't regret it for one moment. Call it the price of an education!
